Did you like it? Great! You can read the continuing stories and preceding stories here. The stories posted below are sequels, prequels, or stand-alones. Most of them assume that readers are familiar with the characters and events that take place in the earlier stories. It is, therefore, highly recommended that you begin at the beginning. Please keep in mind, also, that most of these stories are Works In Progress (WIP) Some of them have "endings" but not THE ending. Some of them are "cliff hangers". I have designated the ones that I consider as such with a (WIP) next to the link. Please take heed and continue at your own risk :P lol
The most significant of these continuing chapters is The Aftermath (WIP). This is the sequel to The Fraternity Files , and it is still very much a work in progress. It is nearing completion, but, as many of you will know, it has been in that stage for quite some time now. I am having significant difficulty with the crucial scene involving Gregg Mcarthy. If you have ideas, i would love to hear them, as I have not yet come up with anything that satisfies me. You can contact me at rascal@rascals-gloomy-spot.com if you think of something brilliant! :) For new readers: This story takes place the night following The Summons and proceeds into the next couple of days. Remember this is a continuation of the series. This story will act as a spoiler and will most likely be confusing if you have not read the first part of the series. It also contains implications involving Matt and Steve's relationship that have not previously been specified as graphically as they are here. If you wish to remain oblivious to these implications, you are advised not to read the second part of this series.
The stories below are "stand alone" stories about the fraternity, Rho Beta Chi, and its members. They can be read and understood in and of themselves, though it is highly recommended that you read the other stories first for the full context. These stories will act as spoilers, and without the previous stories, the depth of friendship experienced by the characters will most likely not come across.the same way. These are stories that were written either for a special occasion, with no intent that they should ever be included in the main story, or they were written originally with the full expectation that they would be included, but ultimately did not make the cut. Some of them were also written for the Fiction Group: Writing Lines (affectionately known as WL). The first of these stories, Fraternal Bonds, was written especially for and is dedicated in its entirety to my friend, Mike, with whom I started the WL Group. This story (and some of the others below) involves Matt and Steve, and goes into explicit detail about their relationship, revealing a depth that in the first installment of the series is perhaps intimated at but is not in any way graphically explored. If you wish to remain ignorant regarding these aspects of their relationship, do not read these stories. Otherwise, enjoy:)
Fraternal BondsThis story takes place in Danny's Freshman year (so Kevin did not yet exist, Ryan was a sophomore, Steve was a junior, and Matt was the president).
SmokingThis story was written for WL's DP Philosophy Challenge from the point of view of Matt, who responded as if he was a member of the group. If you are interested in knowing more about WL, scroll to the bottom of the page, where you will find a description and alink to the group's home page.
Doctor's OrdersThis story takes place in Steve's Freshman year (so none of the younger boys existed yet. Matt was a sophomore , and You get a brief intro to big brothers, Jason (a junior), and Colin (who was President). The story was once again written for a DP Philosophy challenge and is told from Matt's point of view.
Scratching the Surface Part One (WIP)This is a Prequel to The Fraternity Files that takes place in Danny's freshman year (before Kevin) when Matt was president. It is a definite work in progress.
